In 2005, Bruce Jewett and Harry Gilbert purchased Villa 1A (along with two others) in the new Kolea condominium development on the Big Island of Hawaii. A few months later, they acquired a partial ownership in Villa 1B which, like Villa 1A, is a three-bedroom condominium vacation home. Our website was originally started to advertise those villas as vacation rentals. In September 2006, Bruce and Harry (and two others) purchased Villa 14H, a two-bedroom condominium with a view of A-Bay, and that was added to our site as well. Vacation guests responded to the website; in fact, we had vacation requests for times we already had guests. About the same time, some of our fellow owners asked if they could advertise on our site. We put two and two together, and started a company to advertise Kolea villas for our fellow owners, and to make it easy for our guests to make reservations on-line through a secure site.

Each villa on our site has photos and descriptions (most written by the owners), so you can easily find a five-star condominium that matches your vacation dreams. The beach is a 2-3 minute walk from each of these spacious condominiums—just past the Kolea infinity edge swimming pool.

Our company recently changed its name to Kolea Luxury Vacations, LLC— in recognition of the upscale condominiums at Kolea. Our website is professionally maintained, and we hope you enjoy your visit to our site.
